Appointments to City boards and commissions are made by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. See each board/commission webpage for vacancies and term expiration dates.

The process of appointment includes:

1. Review of applications by the Mayor and Board Chair and/or Council Contact.
2. Applicant interviews by interview team (Mayor, Board Chair, Council Contact, Key Staff Person). The Mayor will decide on the number of interviews depending on the number of applicants and vacancies.
3. Mayor selects appointees and presents to City Council.
4. City Council approves appointments.
