Passport Applications and Renewals

Passport applications are processed by appointment only.

regular business hours:

Processing Times

REGULAR processing -- please allow 12 weeks to receive passport(s) and original documents.

EXPEDITED processing -- please allow 4 weeks to receive passport(s) and original documents.

Regular Fees (for new passports)

ADULTS (16 years and older) $100.00 each
$25 in cash or check payable to the City of Langley AND $75 in the form of check or money order payable to US Department of State.

CHILDREN (15 years and under) $85.00 each
$25 in cash or check payable to the City of Langley AND $60 in the form of check or money order payable to US Department of State.

For CHILDREN -- at this location both parents (with ID) and children must be present. Both parents must sign application form for children under 14 OR one parent and notarized statement of consent from the other parent (Form DS-3053). If child had prior passport, both the prior passport and birth certificate must be presented.

Expedited Fee (for new passports)

Delivery from US Department of State within 3 weeks of submitting application.

ADULTS: (16 years and older) $160.00

$25 in cash or check payable to the City of Langley AND $135 in the form of check or money order payable to US Department of State.

CHILDREN:(15 years and under) $145.00

$25 in cash or check payable to the City of Langley AND $120 in the form of check or money order payable to US Department of State.

For CHILDREN -- at this location both parents (with ID) and children must be present. Both parents must sign application form for children under 14 OR one parent and notarized statement of consent from the other parent (Form DS-3053). If child had prior passport, both the prior passport and birth certificate must be presented.

Renewals (by mail only)

The City provides Renewal Forms (DS-82) only but does not accept renewal applications. ALL processing for renewals must be done by the individual applicant. Instructions for renewal are provided on the back of the renewal form.

What You Need to Bring to City Hall

  1. Completed application form DS-11
    Click here to complete and print the DS-11 form online
    NOTE: All blanks on the application must be fully completed EXCEPT that the signature on the application must be witnessed by authorized City staff.
  2. TWO passport photos (2" x 2")
  3. Picture ID in the form of a valid Driver's License or current school, work, or military ID
  4. And ONE of the following:
    Certified Birth Certificate issued by a State (NO footprint birth certificates)
    Consular Report of Birth Abroad
    Certificate of Citizenship
    Naturalization or Citizenship Certificate
    Previous US Passport

NOTE: All documents presented must be ORIGINALS and NOT COPIES.

A: Ten years

Q: My Passport is over 10 years old but less than 15 years old. Can it be renewed?
A: Yes, just as if it was still valid.

Q: My Passport is more than 15 years old. Can I renew it?
A: No, renewal is not possible. You'll need to apply for a new Passport.
