Where the Garden Project Meets Main Street

The Langley Garden Project joined with Langley Main Street in planning a big beautiful spring for our town.

The groups raised the funds, purchased and planted 5000 bulbs during two work parties in October Starting with ribbons of gold daffodils and exploding into a colorful riot of tulips, the Spring will be beautiful in Langley!

Thank you to the work party organizers and volunteers!

LANGLEY EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS: It is hard to believe that the Winter weather is just around the corner, and with it the need for community and individual emergency preparedness. The City of Langley has been working on emergency preparedness for a number of years with the goal of having:

  • an action plan for city staff,
  • coordinating with governmental and community organizations,
  • being a partner in the Langley shelter program, and
  • advocating for household and neighborhood preparedness.

Please take this opporuntity to review your own preparedness.

In September 2011 the Council adopted a comprehensive emergency management plan for handling serious emergencies.
